“If sin and unrighteousness characterize your life, there is a possibility you are a disobedient Christian—but there is a greater possibility you are not a Christian at all.” ~John MacArthur.

He says a man whose life is characterized by sin and unrighteousness might be “a disobedient Christian”

What a joke. Really? A “disobedient Christian.” A Rebellious Christ-follower? A God hating Christian? A Follower of Christ who doesn’t Follow Christ? What is he talking about?

Christian means Christ-life, a follower of Christ. Not a follower of Satan and sin.

If your life is characterized by sin, you are a follower of sin.
If you are a follower of sin, you are a follower of Satan.
If you are a follower of Satan, you are not a follower of Christ.

A “Disobedient Christian” is nothing more than a backslider who has forsaken Christ and salvation for the old ways of sin.

The root of the problem is that John MacArthur is a Calvinist and Calvinism is a compromised counterfeit gospel.
