Jhn 6:37 – All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Who is Jesus talking about? Some special group of elect predestined from eternity? No, he is talking about men and women of God like:

Simeon (Luke 2:25)

Cornelius (Acts 10),

Lydia (Acts 16:14),

Apollos (Acts 18:24-28).

These were men and women of God who already belonged to the Father and now were being given to the Son.

Jn. 5:22-23 – For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

John 17:6 – They were Yours, You gave them to Me.

John 10:16 – And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Jn. 8:18-19 – Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

Jn. 8:42 – Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

  2. Not everyone belongs to the Father either. Many belong to Satan.

The Father can only give to the Son those that belong to Him.

Jhn 10:26 – But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you

  3. They were choosing not to believe because they were children of the devil, that belonged to the fold of Satan.

If they belonged to the fold of God, they would have believed in the Son, because the Father gave His sheep to the Son.
